Colombia has become a tourist dream and it is one of the cheapest tourist havens in Latin America

The Coffee-Area (Manizales, Pereira, Armenia) is after the Caribbean the most visited place in the country and every year the tourism and foreign investments are growing up. .  

Monalisa is situated in Santagueda (Rochela) it is only 35 minutes from the city of Manizales in the heart of the coffee-region.

Santagueda is a recreation place with an excellent tourist infrastructure with many public swimming pools, sport fishing lakes, horse riding farm, restaurants and a big supermarket.

The distance to Finca Monalisa is only about 500 meters walk.

The big project of the INTERNATIONAL COFFEE-AIRPORT in Palestina has started already and it should end by 2014/15. International flights will replace all the airports in the coffee-zone.

Our Hotel-Project is only 15 minutes driving distance away.

It is an inversion with a good growing potential as well as the tourism that it is growing up.
The land is about 4.000 square meters, it is located near a small river, with many tropical plants and trees; it has a beautiful view of the snow top volcano Nevado Del Ruiz- and it has a summer climate of aprox 28 degrees daily.

The house construction is about 300 square meters, it has 8 rooms, 4 bathrooms, a big kitchen for a restaurant and a private bungalow for private living.
The finca Monalisa is completely furnished and it can accommodate up to 25 guests at a time.

We have completed a main refurnishing this year (2010).
We are registered as a farm hostel in Colombia and we are member with several Hotel Association and Publications. We have our own Willis Jeep and we offer trips of the coffee-region for our guests.

We pay 3 % Commission to real estates agents or Privates after the sell is realized.
